Ding Dong...Here Comes The S - Mobile

There comes a time in everyone's life where they say to themselves, "oh my gosh, I can't believe that happened to me...I am one of 'those parents'." That moment came last nite for Trent when he successfully locked Kalleigh in the car while he was still outside of the car. There she was, just sitting in her car seat, playing with the keys. Trent thought, "I can make it to the front seat before she hits any buttons." Wrong. She hit the lock button as soon as he shut the door. Oh, but it gets better. She then dropped the keys on the floor. What do you do next? Of course...call the fire department. Now, this incident occurred while picking her up at daycare. There just so happens to be a fire department across the street...maybe 50 yards away. So Trent thinks...I will call them and they can just walk over, very nonchalantly. Wrong again. They got in their truck (not the little one, but the one with the big, extended ladder) and promptly turned on the sirens as loud as they could possibly go and rolled over to daycare. It took them less than a minute to free her and she was content the whole time...just watching things going on. All's well that ends well. The rest of the day didn't go much better for him...let's just say there was an incident at Wal-Mart (temper tantrum) and then another incident at Chipotle (temper tantrum) but that is for another day.

The daycare ladies that Kalleigh hangs out with love to do her hair. We are digging the urban do that she came home in today. We think they are tired of her hair getting in her eyes. We are not sure how she sits still for them for so long. We barely can get one ponytail in her before she wants down. But it is cute none the less.
Kalleigh's new favorite toy is the hello kitty tunnel that we bought her at Target. (Shocker). Here she is having fun crawling back and forth.
