What's up ET?

So apparently the simple remedy for jaundice is UV light. That means our son gets to sit in a tanning bed 24 hours a day until he gets better. These photos are not touched up or altered in any way. That is the poor guy just being being lit up like a rock show. We call him "tinkle bell."

I'll have a billireuben on rye

Just got the news that Parker has a bit of the yellow in his skin. The jaundice is a bit high, but no one seems to be worried. Parker is just clicking along without a bump though. The worst part is that Lia just got discharged and Parker will not until tomorrow. So we are relagated to the waiting room couches and shelters in the smokers lounge. We hope be come home with baby boy tomorrow. The outfit he will be wearing is worth checking back for. He will look just like a final four mascot.

lucky kid

So the docs played it down, but the nurses said he was a miracle baby to have survived a knot in his cord. I prefer to think of him as a "freekin genius" to have tied a knot with both sides attached. Can you say "scholarship?"

Kalleigh meets Parker

Kalleigh was a bit unsure of what to think about her new baby brother. But she quickly figured out that he was going to be a lot of fun to have around. She even got to sing him his first lullaby. I think her favorite part was gettting toys from Parker and giving him a glow worm to keep him safe at night.

Baby, Baby, Baby!

Parker is here. God loaned us Parker on March 30th at 11:29AM. He is 9.5 pounds, 20.5 inches and cute as a button. He looks much like his sister and is just as difficult to put down. We are so blessed and thank everyone for your prayers and love.
